It is important to take pride and ownership in our communities. However, ownership is more than just waving banners, wearing t-shirts, and shouting slogans. Taking ownership means taking a proactive role in building strong and beautiful neighborhoods. One of the simplest ways we can do that is by making and keeping our neighborhoods clean. As some of you know, Young Forest Martial Arts sits along the Tecumseh Point Trail, making it our neighborhood. This past Saturday, Warriors of Young Forest Martial Arts and their families took to the Trail and cleared several hefty bags of trash from our beautiful scenic community.
As you can see from the slideshow images, we had children of all ages help clean-up our community. It is never too late or too early to get involved or teach children the value and importance of community service! Thanks to all Young Forest students and families for helping make a positive impact in our community and a positive influence on our youth!
