Bake Sale Success!

Thanks to the efforts of many of our member families who baked and donated a huge assortment of baked goods, and the additional effort of parent volunteers who helped organize and run the sale, our Kung Fu Bake Sale was a huge success! And we can’t forget about the community who so graciously bought our goodies. We had several people just donate to our cause! We have such a great community!

We held our bake sale Friday night during the May First Friday event. It was a beautiful, festive evening with great weather! We love participating in our community and First Friday Events!

We’d like to give an extra special thanks to the parents who stayed and helped out at either bingo or the bake sale table (or both). Kevin and Susana ‘the Pastry Slinger’ Miller, Heidi Perry, Candy Gantt, the Pastry Hustlers Chris and Amber Williams, Chris Langdon, of course my wife Kim (the backbone of all Young Forest operations), and last but not least, my mother!
